We run crèches for 270 children per year for the most deprived children of the parents who are working class and leave the children at home without proper care or education. In fact the children who do not get home care and opportunity for education will feel neglected and often they go astray as a result as they grow up they tend to become anti-social elements because the society could not care for them. Our organisation takes care of them in our homes and gives them much needed care and pre-primary education. Besides education these children are provided with dress, learning material, materials for games, school bags, medicines and nutritional food.

Benefit or Impact of the Students

Impact 1: The children, almost all of whom are first generation learners, will have the motivation and basic resources necessary to pursue preparatory education at these Children Care Centres and will find it easier to cope up with regular school curriculum.
Earlier direct entry into primary school often came as a shock and distress to children as they could not follow the studies in schools. Since they could not afford to receive any guidance or support at home, children easily lost interest in coming to school. Children Care Centre will do this groundwork to prepare these children coming from poorest background to enroll and continue schooling.

Impact 2: Children will learn basic good habits of health and hygiene, like hand washing, using safe drinking water, cleanliness, stop water wastage, stop open defecation etc. These when learnt as a children can remain to be lifelong lessons. Following these habits will ensure that they remain healthy and grow up to become responsible citizens of the country. This will be strengthened by monthly health checkup and regular meals that will be provided to them.

Impact 3: Parents of these children will be able to work worry free and plan and concentrate on their work, which may lead to increase of income. They will also be kept updated on their children’s progress which will motivate them to ensure that children do not drop out of Children Care Centre and continue education even after they have been enrolled to schools.
