The main activities of the organisation are running of B.Ed Course and D.El. Ed Course by Sundarban B. Ed College and Sundarban Primary Teachers Training Institute to give educational empowerment to students coming from humble and deserving background such as SC, ST, OBC and Minority communities with the provision of scholarship and concession whereby such trained students could become educators with self-empowerment. We are convinced that this B. Ed. Course which is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education and affiliated to West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education, Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA), and D.El.Ed Course is affiliated to The West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) is very popular with the local community as so many candidates take admission for this course in our institution which is available at an affordable cost. It is to be noted that quality education is the basis for character formation and societal transformation leading to the task of nation building. This course is combined with development of human personality and modern skills for communication so that they are ready to take up the challenges of life.
To create and enhance employability of poor and marginalised young people in the field of primary education thus ensuring a regular and sustainable source of income.
